Roadside jobs near you, by text

TowXpress sends boost, lockout, tire-change and fuel requests from across the GTA to independent operators who hold Ontario tow certificates. You choose your areas and services. When a job comes in you get one text and one link, and the first to accept gets it.

Why operators join

Jobs on your terms

  • Only the areas and services you pick
  • Take the jobs that suit you and pass on the rest
  • No app and no contract
  • The customer's details go only to the operator who accepts
  • Reply YES to a job text to take it, or use the link
  • A real person at TowXpress to call when something is off
Why roadside jobs only? Ontario's TSSEA bans paying or being paid for tow referrals (s. 29), so TowXpress sends roadside jobs only, and never anything on the 400-series highways or the QEW. If a job turns into a tow, that is between you and the customer, under your own certificate, consent form and published rates. TowXpress takes nothing for it.

Questions from operators

Before you join

I run a tow truck. How do I join?

Apply online in a few minutes. We check your certificate and insurance and text you when you are approved.

Do I have to take every job?

No. You see the job first and only take the ones that suit you.

How do jobs reach me?

By text from the TowXpress line, with one link. Tap it to see the job and accept it, or reply YES. The first to accept gets it.

What does it cost?

Joining is free, and your first 60 days of jobs are free. After that you pick: $15 for each roadside job you accept, or $79 a month for as many as you take. No contract, and you can switch or leave any time.

How do I pay TowXpress?

After your free 60 days, we text you a short summary each month: the jobs you accepted and what you owe on your plan. Jobs you gave back, jobs the customer cancelled and jobs that turned into a tow are never counted.

Why roadside jobs only?

Ontario's towing law bans paying or being paid for tow referrals (TSSEA s. 29), so TowXpress sends roadside jobs only. If a job turns into a tow, that is between you and the customer, under your own certificate, consent form and rates. TowXpress takes nothing for it.

Who talks to the customer?

You do, once you accept. We text them your company name, number, ETA and the price you set.

What if I accept and then cannot make it?

Tap "Can't make it" on the job page right away. The job goes back to the other operators and we call the customer.
